Some sad news as the economic meltdown continues to devour old media in an Internet age - AM 970s Tim Riley was let go from the Rick Emerson team on Monday by CBS Radio.

He got to do a final goodbye on air thanks to the station director. Rick, Sara X Dylan and Ritchie's show won't be the same.

Also - Marconi from KUFO evenings was laid off - a station also owned by the CBS Radio network.
