Stir crazy yet schoolkids?

Not to contradict the city or anything, but if you're in Portland proper the streets are mainly FINE out there. Some patchy spots, some slush, but thus goes winter.
Go do some square dancing at the Sellwood Public house on SE 13th.

Or check out a show - Christmas Carol at Portland Center Stage. A Tuna Christmas is at the Schnitz. Oregon Ballet Theater's Nutcracker plays Thursday and the weekend.

As a matter of fact all these theaters have setas to fill: Artists Repertory - Tapestry theater and the aforementioned OBT and PCS.

It's not that bad. Snow actually doesn't hurt or burn through your skin.
