OK, aside from shopping, cooking and gluttony, the idea will be to do as little as physically possible.
However, you should be recovered in time for a couple shows Friday revealing fresh slices of Americana to be thankful for.

UPDATE: Holly Golightly brings the down home to the Doug Fir Wednesday night - with opener Eugene's legendary Tom Heinl swooping in. They toured Europe together a few years ago, excellent news to have em back!

Tom T. Hall tribute - it's a couple guys from the bluegrass brew Podunk Friday night at the World Famous Kenton Club in N. Portland.

Also - Berbati's Pan, the Altarboys, My Life in Black and White and the Dry County Crooks shake the shack.

And of course: the parade, tree lighting, Black Friday and Saturday's 112th CIVIL WAR!
GO DUCKS!!!

Then get creative with leftovers. I recommend hot dish.

Here's the obligatory turkey fryer fire in WLTL's DEEP FRIED DISASTER!

And no offense to idiots, but these guys are lucky they're not in a burn unit:

Here Good Eats' Alton Brown shows the right way.
