I put down the saxophone in 1987 and left the jazz band for punk rock guitars. My folks sold it after I moved out and probably got a few hundred bucks for that Conn alto. I miss it as of late and am looking for a used one.
Inspiration being such check out the Dirty Dozen Brass Band with a bold appearance at Jimmy Mak's Friday night.
If you like your N'awlins extra spicy, watch these boys blow the roof off that place.
PLUS a FREE show by the DDBB at Music Millennium. That's at 6 pm and dangit I can;t make that.

At the Mission - Scott McCoughy and gang The Minus Five take the stage. Can anyone tell me if he has a Portland residence now? I seem to recall asking that awhile back to no one in particular. Yes, that Peter Buck guy will be joining them.
