OK, it's all officially over - MTV does PDX.
In this new MTV News clip they talk to all kinds of transplanted Portland hipsters about the music, the rain, food and coffee. Music selections span the gamut from electro indie pop all the way to synth emo.
Alright, they at least mention metal and folk. And there are PLENTY of white framed sunglasses.
I hear the Real World is shooting somewhere soon too.
Buckle up.
Meanwhile, in one of Portland's coolest (and haunted) parks this weekend it's the Cathedral Park jazzfest
There's tunes, food, brews and wine. I think you can bring the dog too.

I have no problem with deterring greater America from relocating here. I'd like to keep this lovely city to myself...
