KGW Northwest NewsChannel 8 and kgw.com will have special coverage today of the Oregon Primary Election. Start off by going to our special election page on kgw.com. We have information about the candidates in case you are still making up your mind and we have a list of the ballot drop-off locations in case you are making a last-minute decision. Tonight we will have a special half-hour election report at 8 p.m. on Northwest NewsChannel 8 with the first election returns. Starting at 8 p.m. we will have election results continuously updated on kgw.com. On NewsChannel 8 we will be updating the results at the bottom of your screen during NBC's prime time programming. Throughout the night you can go to kgw.com for live election updates from our reporters in the field. We will have official updates on kgw.com at 9 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. But we will also be doing live impromptu updates in between. If any of the candidates for governor give victory or concession speeches we plan to carry those live on kgw.com. Of course, we will have the very latest results and interviews on Northwest NewsChannel 8 both at 10 p.m on Portland's WB and at 11 p.m. on KGW Northwest NewsChannel 8. Thanks for keeping it on NewsChannel 8 and kgw.com for your best election coverage. - Rod Gramer, Executive News Director
