Guess.
GUESS!!
IT'S ME!!!!!!!! I am so excited it's borderline ridiculous. This is definitely going to screw up my nap time today. Won't be able to sleep. Much more to come soon (and often). This is part of the Oregon International Airshow: http://www.oregonairshow.com/. Have you ever checked out an airshow?! I love 'em. They're so much fun.
Okay, here is the information on the services Oregon provides to families. Maybe you know an Army National Guard family member who could use this??
Family Programs support and inform military families regarding
preparation for deployment; provide referral services for legal,
financial, counseling and benefits assistance; crisis intervention;
child and youth programs including child care, youth camps and assisting
children dealing with deployment. The Oregon National Guard Family
Programs Office works closely with several community agencies to provide
the best services available to military families.
There are seven Family Assistance Centers in Oregon to support military
families in all phases of deployment - preparation, mobilization and
reunion.
These centers are located in Portland, Clackamas, Salem, Eugene, La
Grande, Grants Pass, and Klamath Falls. Family Assistance Centers are
designed to assist any military member or their family of any military
component.
The Oregon National Guard Family Programs also have several dedicated
volunteers helping families at a personal level at each unit. These
volunteers coordinate family events, keep families updated on unit
activities and provide constant support and information.
Some of the key services available to families are Military One Source
800-342-9647 or www.militaryonesource.com - a 24/7 source of assistance;
Triwest Health Care 800-TRIWEST or www.triwest.com; Salvation Army;
Coalition of Troop Support; Red Cross; USAA; Vet Centers of Oregon;
Department of Veterans Affairs; Oregon Department of Veterans Affairs;
Department of Labor; Employer Support to the Guard and Reserves; Oregon
National Guard Reintegration Team/Career Transition Assistance Team and
many more.
