I don't hate cats. In fact, I rather like them. Of course after today's story on allergies and cats, I can see why you might think I'm not a cat person.

The story on cats I feel was irresponsible reporting. Because some half-baked unproven theory was put forth in England, you give credence to an unsubstantiated claim by sensationalizing it. Not even your disclaimer at the end could dignify the story. How you advertised the story at the beginning of the show was also sensationalism to say cats are "dangerous to your health". The story was really about people with asthma - they are allergic anyway to everything in the universe - so what's new. Why don't you do a story on how it has been PROVEN owning a cat/dog add years to an individuals life because of the enjoyment they provide. As you can tell, I'm obviously a CAT LOVER!
