Rockin' Rodney
Rod's mom DID write to me (see previous blog) but what I really want her to see is the photo of her son as it was originally taken... high atop Torino's tallest building the Mole Antonelliana.
And here is a picture of Rod's pants. Yeah, you read that correctly.
The laundry system here is TERRIBLE. First, they staple numbers to every item (each sock, pair of underwear etc). Picking staples out of your clothes when you overslept and have to get into work RIGHT NOW sucks. And get this: I washed one pair of jeans, 5 pairs of socks and a sweatshirt. Grand total: 24 euro. The station isn't going to be happy about paying that final tab but the bottom line is I have to wash my clothes sometime and I have no time whatsoever to catch a taxi to a coin-operated laundromat.
