Loving Italy!!
After 24 hours of travel.. no sleep and some technical difficulties at the NBC workspace.. things are finally coming together. I have a ton to tell you about, but I'm swamped and need a moment to get myself pulled together. Also, I need to check with our web guru to find out about the NBC Olympic Blog which will turn up in a different place. I actually wish I could blog here (I can't) because I have control over when I post. Doing it the other way requires all these steps and sometimes it takes them too long to make the post and last time in Athens one blog showed up a week late.
Right now we're trying to resolve multiple connectivity issues at the workspace. Thank goodness mine worked the very first time (which is why I'm online right now and able to blog).
One pic... this is from last night. We went to this fabulous restaurant called La Pergola. We had a great time and enjoyed a well earned multi-course meal that ROCKED. On an aside, we couldn't find it at first and I was trying to get directions in Italian. The guy told me he didn't speak english but could speak a little Spanish. A phojo in our group from Boise speaks Spanish and stepped in. How funny... getting directions in Spanish in Italy.
