The best of times, the worst of times
I'll spare you most (but not all) of the details.. but today was both completely awesome and completely lame. The day started out wonderfully, as I shot 3, possibly 4 stories that will air over in Italy during the Olympics. I can't tell you more yet, but I had a blast doing them.
Then I got back to the station and was so completely bogged down with work.. special reports for February that I MUST get done before I leave.. multi-shoot stories that require shifting people's schedules (including mine).. returning calls.. you get the idea. It may feel lousy to be so far behind but I like what I do which helps make it an easier pill to swallow.
On an aside, did any of you read the Bode Miller stories in Time and Newsweek?? Share your thoughts!! I'd love to hear them. sstricklen@kgw.com

P.S. I just fronted the health segment tonite at 5. The Italian sex and TV story was NOT my doing!! :-)
