It's interesting that the study results I reported on came from Duke specifically-- where Ted Kennedy got treatment. I found this on Bloomberg which broadens the issue a bit:

And on the subject of smart clothes.. the idea isn't new, but the applications are getting more sophisticated. I mean, a heart monitor?? Decibel-detecting fabrics?? Sweet. This link is more than a year old-- but still pretty cool ((and it includes a few nods to Beaverton based Nike)).
