November 2007 ArchivesNBC Network is "Going Green" all this week - even their GRAPHICS are green. This week, Fred Meyer kicks off a campaign to get one million customers to switch to reusable bags. The grocery giant will give away three free reusable bags to customers each time they spend $75 or more at the store. Of course, the company has been the source of thousands of those plastic bags that end up in landfills every year.
