I got to take part in a great event this past weekend...
The 5th Annual Bowling with Bubba fundraiser, hosted by KUPL's afternoon drive host, Rick "Bubba" Taylor. The event raised money for Shriners Hospital for Children in Portland.

I took an extended 3-day weekend in honor of MLK DAY, and planned on returning to my normal duties today. (For the record, we had planned to tape a segment with the Portland LumberJax this morning that would have posted in the "Out & About with Drew Carney" section of KGW.com today)
However, there is nothing normal about this city when the S-word is thrown into the mix.
SNOW... it actually came to Portland today... not Mt. Hood...
