Despite the ability to ramble on endlessly, I vow to keep this blog short.
I have to meet my wife at the grocery store in 8 minutes and I'm at least 20 minutes away.
Is that type of irrelevant, personal information acceptable as far as blog entries go?
Is anyone reading this?
Is anyone there?
I received more comments than I could post to my original blog entry last month, but nothing, zilch, nada, nothing since!!
What's up? I'm beginning to feel a bit self-conscious.
By the way, I'm officially back on the air as part of the NewsChannel 8 at Sunrise morning show on Tuesday, February 27th.
Any ideas or suggestions as far as what I should do my first day back on the air?

It should be noted, no matter how popular the idea, I will NOT allow myself to be tased again!!
Don't feel lonely! I read your blog! Yeah, information like that is totaly fine. It connects me to you more.
For you first day: hmmm.....that is a tough one. Maybe something you have always wanted to do, but haven't yet. Of course, it seems like you have done everything.
I'll be watching for you!
I watch the show you used to be on (Good...) and I was wondering where the heck you went I enjoyed the sutff you did and had fun watching... I would like to know what happened... you can email me I would really like to know... you are very entertaining where ever you go they will be lucky to have you man
4 words: on air nose job.
Don't worry, your blog will soon be so full you can't possibly read them all! I don't watch TV, so I only catch you on the news on the web but boy do you put on a show! I don't mean you're not a newsman, I mean you make every event you cover seem incredibly wonderful and I'll bet it makes a lot of people visit the sites you talk about, just because of your reviews! So far, every show about cooking has made me want to rush out and join the fun (I can't, I have fibromyalgia and I'm stuck at home) and you made even a ho-hum event like the outdoor show (the one with the bear, I don't remember the even't name) sound exciting and something that I would like to see! Don't worry about comments, you'll soon be overrun by them and regret you put up a blog! No, just kidding. But you continue to be entertaining as well as newscasting so go man go! Be yourself and you'll have incredible amounts of feedback coming your way! TTYL
Drew the other show is just not the same w/out you.(____________________!)
How much air time for you on the new venue?
Whatever you do on the first day make sure to take a jab at the other network as they don't even say goodbye when someone leaves.
I used to watch a certain morning show every day. I had stopped watching for a little bit and when I came back you were gone! At first I thought maybe you were on vacay, or possibly sick. After a while I finally asked my mother if she knew what had happened, and she said she knew you had gotten married and that was it. Long story short, I finally remembered to Google your name and I've found yah! I miss my Drew Carney in the morning! Hope your new venture works out for you! What time does it air?
I watched you everyday on the other show, then one day you were gone, So after awhile I e-mailed the network and asked what happened and after about a week they e-mailed me back and said you took another job, but didn't say where. It just happened that I went on to kgw web-site and seen you I was happy to see that you stayed in the northwest. So I will be watching for you.
First I went to KPTV to see if you were on the list of Who's on 12, didn't see your name there, so I e-mailed KPTV too, and they told me the same thing. So I went to other news stations and looked up newscasters and I found you on KGW's list. I thought All Right, he'll be back on tv soon.
zzzzzzzzzzzz...............ok Drew, time to wake up and get used to your new hours! Our power was out this morning so once again I could only see you on the web, and it was pretty cheesy (sorry for the very bad pun). At least you got to the good part, 'cause the first steps of making cheese can smell really bad! I took a tour once in there and whoa, what a stench! So you got the good stuff. Not as good as having your tooties rubbed and complimented, but I bet you didn't get any calls from the wife about it either! You two look so cute in your picture! Anywho, I'm still watching and will still watch again so you have at least one person bugging you each day about your hard (cough cough) job there at channel 8. Cheers! TTYL
