Blazers center Greg Oden was hurt in the Blazers season opener in Los Angeles tonight. The Blazers say it is a mid-foot sprain. X-rays were inconclusive and an MRI will be done tomorrow. Oden appeared to hurt himself battling on the boards with the Lakers Andrew Bynum. Oden grabbed a rebound was trying to score...grabbed another rebound and was fouled by Bynum. Blazers Center Greg Oden worked out for the Blazers tonight during training camp at the practice facility. However, guard Steve Blake missed the work out with a strained left hamstring. Oden tweaked his right ankle yesterday during the morning practice of two a day workouts. Greg didn't work out this morning and the Blazers said that Oden was fine they didn't want to rush the big man. ... |
