Blazers & Cavs... Still Perfect (so is B-Roy)

With Utah losing on their home floor... only the Blazers and Cavaliers have yet to lose a game at home.   Impressive, right?   Portland certainly did enough late in the game to warrant the 91-90 victory over the Kings.. even with off nights by LaMarcus Alridge, Greg Oden, and Rudy Ferandez.   Those 3 key parts only managed to score 16 points total (just 3 each by Oden and Rudy).   But yet again, the Blaz...

The Bulls are not a bad NBA team... but the Blazers made them look plain silly out there tonight.

As a result... Portland had their first win by more than 40 points in 9 long years.  

Expectations are on the rise in the Rose City.   The Blazers put together one of their best all-around efforts in the Nate McMillan era... they played superb defense--which is where it all starts... they distributed the basketba...



Oden is "Ohhing" once again!

Alas, the big fella is returning!   It's been two lonely weeks without the Blazers franchise center in the lineup, but he's returning with some firepower for Wednesday's game in South Florida.   When the Blazers and Heat tip off on ESPN (and CSN NW)... Oden will be on the bench.   This may be more newsworthy.   Oden has been out of action since tweaking his foot/ankle two weeks ago on opening night. ...



Blazers Get Some Magic

It will go down as a landmark victory... sort of.   The Blazers 106-99 win on Monday night was Portland's first in Orlando since 2004.   And they used a steady dose of Brandon Roy to twart anything the Magic had.   Although, both Hedo Turkoglu and Dwight Howard combined to score two-thirds of Orlando's points (64 of their 99).   But enough about the Magic... because the Blazers won this wo...
