Blazers rookie Greg Oden will address the local media for the first time since undergoing successful microfracture surgery nearly 2 weeks ago. He'll talk about his experience of not being able to play....as well as his plans to rehab the knee.

Well, I'm probably like a lot of you.....I STILL don't want to believe that our "chosen one"--Greg Oden is out for the year. Here's my view on it however. If it was going to happen....I'm glad it happened now. I'm cautiously optimistic that everything will work out in the long run. Yes, microfracture surgery is a tricky proceedure....but in recent years, it's become quite advanced. It's good that is was a minimal area...good that he...

It's a fact of life that we are all trying to grasp....Blazers prized rookie Greg Oden is going under the knife this Thursday to have what they are calling "exploratory arthroscopic knee surgery". Oden said on his website....that while he was on vacation...he got up off the couch when he felt a sharp pain in his right knee. He didn't think anything of it at the time...but the pain never really subsided....so he went to see the doc. And...
