Well, all signs point to Greg Oden returning to the floor on Wednesday when the Blazers pay a visit to Indiana. And maybe it's a little ironic, because it's Portland's one and only visit of the season to Oden's hometown. Hopefully, we'll get blessed with his presence for the remainder of the season. The Blazers practiced in Indianapolis on Tuesday, and Oden participated in the teams light workout. Following practice, Oden said he was "pain free". Yes!! Something positive, finally! The Blazers have been overly cautious with Oden, but did upgrade him to "questionable" for Tuesday's 4:00 PST tip. The one nugget of information that we have learned.... Oden will come off the bench for the remainder of the season. Joel Pryzbilla has done everything to deserve that starting role. And, in Oden's absence (which dates back to right before the All-Star break... and spans 15 games), the Blazers are 10 and 5. Here's hoping we have a healthy Oden for the final stretch! |
