How did you like that whoopin' Jazz fans?   Portland proved yet again... that they are a force to be reckowned with at the Rose Garden.   And yes, once again, the home team prevails in this series--- as it has in 12 of their last 13 meetings.   The Blazers shredded up Utah 125 to 104....and it really wasn't even that close.

What this all means is that the Blazers magic number to make the playoffs is down to 2.   That's with 8 games to play.   Any combination of Portland wins, and Phoenix losses, assures the Blazers their first postseason trip in 6 VERY LONG seasons.   This group deserves everything that comes their way.  

How important is their upcoming 4-game road trip?   If they can win 3 of these (and they certainly could)...they stand a decent chance of getting one of the top 4 seeds...which would give them home court advantage.   Need I say more about their play at home?   Now fellas, just go beat Houston or San Antonio at their house....and I'll be the ultimate believer.   Make it happen Blazers!!
