Dallas we have a confidence problem

Ever since the Cowboys made Tony Romo the man in Dallas, all you hear is how he is just like Brett Favre, a gunslinger, a guy that creates, a winner. You may find this hard to swallow, but I agree, the guy has all the tools to be a great NFL quarterback. His problem is the media, he actually cares about what we think.

That has to be it, doesn't it? I mean ever since the Jessica Simpson Mexico trip, Romo seems to have gotten worse. He was criticized unmercifully and that criticism continues and will continue until he does something worth praising.

The game against Denver pretty much summed up Romo lately, he is trying to be perfect with every throw instead of just throwing the ball and having fun. It's just like golf, the more you think, the worse your game gets, I think Tony is thinking way too much...

Most of the blame for that goes to the coaching staff, let Romo be Romo! The thing Cowboy fans loved about him in the begining was his improvasation, like the play he made on 4th and 3 to Sam Hurd. Allow him that opportunity and the Boys will be a much better team.

I agree completely. Romo is not Tom Brady. He's not going to stand tall in the pocket and throw 50 yard lasers. I think he can, but thats not his game. Even if it was his game he wouldnt have a receiver to catch the lasers. All of Romos great memorable plays are plays that started with a big giant "Oh S#!T" and he turned it into something fantastic. The same thing happened with Malik Rose. He did a great job playing his way, then he got a big contract and a lot of attention and instead of playing his way, he tried to play the way he thought everyone wanted him to. And in reality we just wanted him to continue being him. Romo is my favorite QB in the league. Not Brady, not Manning (either one), not Favre. I just wish he'd play like Romo again.
