Today the Tucson Downtown Sertoma Club presented the 9th Annual Southern Arizona High School Basketball Player of the year award, and Rincon/University headlined the show. Senior Sandrine Nzeukou won the Female Award for her outstanding performance this season. She averaged 20 points, 13 reboundss, and 2 blocks per game. Now that the post season has started for the Fall High School sports (except football) I wanted to drop some kudos on a few schools. Here at the Sports Force, we try to get around to all the schools and cover all the sports in every season, but I must say that I'm very impressed with Sabino, Ironwood Ridge, Salpointe Catholic, and Catalina Foothills for there consistent play (for the last few seasons) in sports such as Swimming and Diving, Bo...
