Coming into the season I'm sure not too many of us thought the Cats would be heading to Arizona State with a worse record than the Sun Devils (Cats:10-4, ASU:12-2). Since that's the life of college basketball... the show must still go on. The Cats have played hard, but they've also been inconsistent on defense throughout the season. Gilbert Arenas had surgery on his left knee today and will be
sidelined about three months.
Arenas has been experiencing swelling and soreness in the knee
which had been surgically repaired late last season.
After sitting out the past two games, Arenas underwent an MRI
this morning and had the surgery late...
In today's press conference UA Basketball Interim Head Coach Kevin O'Neill said he spoke with Lute recently and that Coach O will be returning shortly. He didn't give an exact time or date, but some news is better than bad news. Right? Anyway, time to move on for the time being, and that means the Cats need to be focused on the NAU Lumberjacks for the season opener. See you there.
