Is being TOO POSITIVE a bad thing?

Call me naive, but I'm starting to feel very confident that this may be the year Mike Stoops and the crew turn things around. Of course I've said this the past two seasons only to see the Cats come up short of making a bowl appearance by one game (losing to ASU at the end of the season doesn't help). Considering the offense can score in the upper-thirties/low-forties on a regular basis; that should give Willie & Co. a little breathing room throughout the course of a game. Even though the defense is a little inexperienced, a lot of teams don't much about the guys; and that could be a GREAT thing if they play as if someone took their lunch money. I have yet to go on record saying how many games I think Arizona can win; and since no one has reported to training camp just yet, I'm going to keep that number in my mental rolodex for the time being. Let's just say, it's higher than a lot of folks might think.

Brandon,
You are not alone! There are plenty of us that have been optimistic since the day Stoops showed up on campus and are not willing to throw him under the bus.

This years schedule certainly sets up for a bowl game. However, I don't think that we will "squeak by" to earn it. As I write this, I must assure you that I am sober, but here goes:
9-3, with losses to Stanford (let down game of the year), USC, and Oregon. All 3 games will be down to wire (Oregon being decided by a blown call).

Bear Down!
