Coming into the season I'm sure not too many of us thought the Cats would be heading to Arizona State with a worse record than the Sun Devils (Cats:10-4, ASU:12-2). Since that's the life of college basketball... the show must still go on. The Cats have played hard, but they've also been inconsistent on defense throughout the season. That raises questions about Arizona matching up with ASU Freshman James Harden (17.6 ppg) and forward Jeff Pendergraph. It's no secret that Jordan Hill will need to stay out of foul trouble, so the Cats can be effective early in the game, and not fall behind by double-digits. Maybe this will all be a mute point if Jerryd Bayless returns to the line-up by Wednesday, but as of today, Kevin O'Neill is preparing the team to play without him. Get ready for some mid week excitement in Tempe. BEARDOWN!!!
