BYU linebacker pleads guilty in water balloon case
PROVO, Utah (AP) -- A Brightam Young University linebacker has
pleaded guilty to three misdemeanor charges stemming from an April
incident involving a water balloon.
Terrance Hooks was arrested for breaking in to two apartments
while trying to find someone who hit his girlfriend with water
balloons.
BYU football coach Bronco Mendenhall suspended Hooks for the
Cougars' season opener against the University of Arizona, along
with another player who was arrested in the incident but not
charged.
