The last time the Arizona baseball team swept it's opening season series and missed the post-season was 2002 (Andy Lopez's 1st year as head coach). In 2007 it does not look as though history will repeat itself after the Cats put on a clinic against the Gonzaga Bulldogs this past weekend. Friday's starting pitcher Preston Guilmet was equally impressive (8.1 IP, 4k, 2BB), and if this weekend's overall TEAM performance was a taste of what to come.... the Cats may be headed for the post-season once again. Check out a game and tell me what YOU think.
