Once again a ranked team came into Bear Down country during our homecoming celebration, and once again we exposed their weaknesses. The Wildcats football team pulled a stunning upset over the No. 8 ranked California Golden Bears to even their record at 5-5 and put them within one victory of bowl game eligibility. From the student section perspective, we were disheveled,and frankly bored during the second quarter and the beginning of the third.

But our team pulled through, and once Cason returned that interception for a TD, I think we all saw it coming. Nobody mentioned it, but all of us got our running shoes ready, because we knew the field was ours to storm.

And with one minue left, we were already on the sideline poised to run Cal out of our building this their Golden Bear tail between their legs.

Bear Down Arizona. Not just win out the rest of the season, and give me my first bowl game as a UA student.
