As per the last 5 years, it's mid-October and we Wildcat fans are already talking about the first day of basketball practice. Next season, I want to have no expectations. Instead of talking bowl game at the beginning of this year, we should have talked about winning more than three games. That would have been an admirable goal, and one that everyone in the Tucson community is talking about now. Coach Larry Smith brought up a good point in the 10-8 Sunday Fox 11 Sports Force, in that the 'Cats need to fire themselves up. They are the only ones that can get out of this slump.
Playing Stanford this weekend will be a good chance to get that third victory of the season, and bring back some of that swaggar we saw against BYU. This IS the weekend to get back on the winning page.
