Deanna Morgan: June 2008 ArchivesWe started the day (I say we because I always have a photographer with me) with an interview for a story that will air over the weekend at the airport. We actually got to go and shoot video of planes out on the tarmac, which we'd never done before. As interesting as it was, it was also way too hot to be out there. From there, I had to start researching the story I would be doing for our newscast. The Tucson Police Department had a special ... So I started my day thinking I would cover an event at the Farmer's Market on Speedway near I-10. Right before I was going to start my story I did an interview for a story I'll do either tomorrow or Saturday. Then, as my photographer and I got on the freeway it started pouring! You'd think after three monsoon's I'd be used to it, but hail was hitting the car so hard I had my doubts we'd make it off the freeway safely. Weather soon became m...
