It's hard to believe hydrogen could actually make gas more efficient. But John Benedict convinced me it works. Now that he's created a hydrogen fuel cell he's having companies look at it to dete...

Members of the Pima County Democratic Party say "no," at least not when the president comes to town for a private fundraiser, then leaves without doing anything associated with the public.

Delane Cleveland

I filed a story on Monday updating people on the situation regarding 25-year-old Lisa Berrie, who police say was strangled to death by her boyfriend in their Oro Valley apartment on Aug. 12.

Friends have established a memorial fund for Berrie's two children. People can donate by going to any Wells Fargo located within Basha's grocery stores.

Meanwhile, the people at "Emerge! Center Against Domestic Abuse" wanted me to share som...

A nice change of pace...

Delane Cleveland

This first two days of this week took on a rather negative tone. On Sunday I covered an apartment fire. Fortunately, nobody died or suffered any injuries, but a young, single mother, lost everything.

On Monday I covered the death of 17-year-old who was supposed to be starting his senior year at Catalina Magnet High School.

Tuesday, however, I had the pleasure of doing a story on a man named Carlos Franco. He's a bus dispatcher...

Bob Richardson

I promised I'd keep you up to date as we move production of our broadcast from our sister station in Phoenix to our studios on North Sixth Avenue in Tucson.

We're a week out from our target date and we're thinking more and more that we may need to push it back two or three days.

Deanna Morgan

I'm not much of a superstitious person, so I look at 8-8-08 as just another day. But I hope it does bring luck to all the couples that got married today. If I find out it made at least one marriage better then maybe I'll consider eight to be a lucky number. My birthday was on 8-7-08 this year. Maybe if my twin sister and I had been born one day later we would have had even more luck in our lives.

Wrightstown Elementary

6:11 PM Thu, Aug 07, 2008 |
Delane Cleveland

So how does a school go about recruiting students? It's a question parents and faculty members from Wrightstown have tried to answer this summer.

The small school on Tucson's East side narrowly escaped the chopping block earlier this year when the TUSD board voted not to close schools. In the meantime, people associated with the school launched a massive advertising campaign to recruit students and, subsequently, ensure its survival f...
