Good evening everyone, how are ya?

Tonight I took a minute to go check out an icon on university and almost the center piece of main gate square, The Frog and Firkin.

Now the Frog is very unique in the way that the majority of the restaurant is the patio. Right on University Boulevard and flush with over head water misters and fans for the summer time and on game days/nights they set up huge screen TVs on the porch to watch the game. The other thing that sets them apart from other places is the service. All the servers and bartenders enjoy their job and don't mind just hanging out and chatting. They are open till one am and two on the weekends so it is a pretty good spot to hang out with friends.

Menu is standard pub food, and pizzas. Now I have not been to a bunch of pubs but I don't really think pizza is standard pub food however it is good and everyone that has had it seems to like it a lot.

Live music on the weekends and walking distance from campus and other Main Gate attractions and the Trolley runs down to 4th Ave, a quarter to ride, who can beat it?
