Helping you plan for your weekend I have teamed up with the Tucson Weekly, congrats on 25 years!, and talked with Jim Nintzle about three things you can plan for for your weekend. Starting Friday you can catch the movie "Che" about the revolutionary Che Guevara in two parts. Good flick, even if it is pretty much a documentary... but you can catch it at the Loft on Speedway. for more info cl... Good evening everybody, how are ya? Tonight I got to see the best if what Tucson's high schools have to offer in the 2009 Battle of the Bands. I actually got really lucky and got to interview the lead singer and guitarist of Monterey, who just happened to win! Well Gen and the LP's are pretty awesome. Plain and simple. Not much else to say. They are a cover band and look kind of unassuming, but boy howdy when Gen opens her mouth she can belt it like you would not believe. I honestly can't do her justice just talking about it. Not to say the LP's are out gunned. They more than just keep up with her. You have to go see them. Howdy everybody, how are ya? Monday I had the pleasure of not only seeing one of the biggest Monday night crowd's I have ever seen in The Hut, but the best funk band EVER! Good evening everybody and how are ya?
