Only Drew Brees, who checks in at number 35, is on the list of Pete Prisco's Top 50 players in the league.

Also, and not surprisingly, it is fairly well established now that Houston made a wise choice when they picked Mario Williams over Reggie Bush with the top pick in the NFL Draft. Williams checks in as the 6th best player overall.

USA Today has its Saints offseason preview and it says the Saints had a hangover from its championship game season of 2006. Drew Brees is quick to add that his worst season with the Chargers was followed by his best.

Pete Prisco reports that the Saints have fired Rick Mueller. There was no explanation. There has been no official word from the Saints.
