Saints' Brees, Cards' Warner in an MVP battle

The fine folks at profootballweekly.com have decided the NFL's MVP race will come down to two players - New Orleans' Drew Brees and Arizona's Kurt Warner.

Right now, they say Warner has the lead. But Brees' finishing five week could ultimately determine the race.

New Orleans picked up its second straight win Monday night, taking down the Green Bay Packers 51-29 in a sold-out Superdome.

The win helps keep the Saints' postseason hopes alive. Drew Brees was 20-of-26 for 323 yards and four touchdowns, 115 of those yards and two of the scores going to Lance Moore.

Pierre Thomas added two touchdowns and 87 yards and Deuce McAllister had a score and five yards rushing.

Deuce McAllister said he's not worrying about the impending possibility of a suspension by the NFL for using a banned substance.
