Saints Linkage: Do you believe now? Day after links goodness

It's Monday morning and I'm pretty sure you're still elated about what transpired down in Miami on Sunday. Um, yeah. that was sort of ridiculous.

I think people might just start believing now. How can you not?

Keep enjoying this one, folks. Tons of reading out there today. Here you go.

Comments are encouraged, discussion is warranted.

The Saints got down as much as 24-3 in the first half and I'm fairly certain most people had given up hope. Not the Saints. In fact, Drew Brees said there really was never any doubt.

WWL-TV sports guru and the voice of the Saints Jim Henderson has seen a lot of football. And he said Sunday's comeback win over the Dolphins was a win for the ages.

Fans, meanwhile, have been exuberant all season about these Saints. And they're letting the team know it by greeting the team at the airport upon return home from away games.

Saints General Manager Mickey Loomis told the Baton Rouge Advocate's Sheldon Mickles that Sunday's win was a "strong, strong, strong win." It certainly was.

Mickles also points out that for the first time all season, the Saints failed to score on their first series. It apparently isn't an omen of things to come, obviously.

Craig Barnes of CBSsports.com says that one of the biggest moments of the game came just before halftime, when Miami called a timeout, giving Sean Payton and Brees time to change their minds, going for a TD instead of a field goal.

ESPN.com's Gene Wojciechowski believes the Saints should have a blemish on their record now. He believes the Saints stole a win. But he still believes now.

Tim Graham, also with ESPN.com, says that the touchdown prior to halftime was absolutely the game-changing moment.

Over at SI.com, Peter King says 7 storylines come up in his mind coming out of this week. And the Saints aren't one of them. But he does still have New Orleans as No. 1 team.

Don Banks can't for the life of him think of a team that's going to be able to keep pace with New Orleans.

Brian Allee-Walsh of the T-P said that John Carney got duped by his teammate Drew Brees. That's because an almost-sure field goal decision was taken away so the Saints could scroe a touchdown. Pretty sure Carney doesn't care.

Peter Finney, a legend, has seen lots of football and knows a thing or two about what a beautiful game looks like. He thinks Sunday's win was much more impressive than blasting the Eagles, Jets and Giants.

Jeff "Oktoberfest" Duncan says this team is special. There's no other word to describe this team.

One of the reasons this team is special, by the way is Gregg Williams, and Les Carpenter of the Washington Post put together a profile of the defensive coordinator.

New Orleans' 21-point comeback made the USA Today's best-worst list.

FOXSports.com believes the Saints should start booking Super Bowl hotel rooms.

WWL Radio's Deke Bellavia says fans should start believing now.

Doug Farrar writes at WashingtonPost.com that the Saints might be the class of the NFL.

Adam H. Beasley in the Miami Herald writes that the game changed in five seconds.

The Morning Call gives the credit not to New Orleans, but to Miami blowing this game.

Yes, we all believe. But it is time for the media and the announcers to believe the Saints are for "REAL"

I think its time, even at 6-0 I'm not seeing as much talk as there would be if it was Dallas or the NYGIANTS ....The SAINTS are amazing, and by not acting all overly confident they are acting like mature men and not boys... Some other players in this league should take notes....Geauxxxxxxxx SAINTS ......... WE ARE VERY PROUD OF YOU

the bubble will burst sooner than later. the saints will find themsevles in the playoffs but i would contend that when drew finally goes down with a injury, the rest of the them won't be able to function without him. he is a one man team. that's my point of view..
