Saints Linkage: Bush mimics Wildcat, Payton praises LB Evans and King likes Saints

It's here. We're finally at the weekend. Sort of. We've still got the work day to get through, so the EOSB is glad you welcomed us into your cubicle for education today.

Lots out there to read. People seem to like writing about the Saints these days.

Grab a special helping of beignets and some sweet chicory. Linkage has arrived in your inbox and is ready to serve.

As always, comments are welcome and discussion is warranted.

Devery Henderson is finally coming into his own and it's no more noticeable than in his downfield blocking, which is getting rave reviews from teammates.

In this week's A View from the Other Side, the EOSB talks with David J. Neal of the Miami Herald. Neal basically says the Fins need to hope that Drew Brees has a JaMarcus Russell type day.

Jim Henderson, meanwhile, wonders how the Saints are going to stop the Wildcat, Miami's revolutionary offense.

WWL-TV.com contributing writer Ralph Malbrough says Saints fans should enjoy this ride right now because they're in first class.

Sheldon Mickles says that the Dolphins' Wildcat offense was the talk of the locker room this week and the team is wary of defending it.

And that's where Reggie Bush and P.J. Hill come in. Brett Martel of the Associated Press said those two ran the Wildcat in practice.

Mike Triplett of the T-P in town says that nose tackle Remi Ayodele has scratched and clawed his way into the starting lineup.

Brian Allee-Walsh writes about the Saints' special teams and how much they need improvement. He says they're working on it.

Pat Yasinskas of ESPN.com puts out a brief run down of why LB Troy Evans is a good fit to replace Scott Fujita while he's injured.

At ESPN.com, Peter King has seen that the Saints are good and is now on the bandwagon. He picks them over the Dolphins.

Pete Prisco at CBSsports.com debunks 10 preseason myths. One that stands out is that the Wildcat won't work in its second year.

David J. Neal of the Miami Herald - yes, the same guy the EOSB talked with - says that the Dolphins have heard about the Saints' offense all week. They're just ready for the game.

Mike Berardino of the South Florida Sun Sentinel writes about the Dolphins and their use of a three-linebacker package that as of yet, is still better on paper than on the field.
