When we last left you we were finishing up our stories for the day before going to get something to eat. The night didn't begin well, we got back to our hotel and the power was out. A little tough to get cleaned up or change clothes in pitch black darkness. I was able to brush my teeth but that was about it. Luckily, I didn't feel or smell that bad. We ventured to the tube or train and headed towards China Town and the Theatre District. The streets were swarming with people. It had a very New York vibe to it. We ate at a Chinese restaurant and then walked around for awhile after that to check out some of the sights. We were delighted to see that our hotel had gotten power back so we got some sleep. The trouble at the hotel picked up again once we awoke. NO HOT WATER!! I spent 10 minutes trying to figure it out thinking I was doing something wrong because the faucets aren't like home only to walk downstairs and have Juan and the other guys tell me they had the same problem and that the hotel said they'd hope to have it fixed shortly. They didn't and I had to brave it out and take a cold shower. It wasn't fun. To top it all off, I didn't feel that well when I got up. Jim arrived earlier today and right now he is at the Arsenal training grounds waiting to speak with Sean Payton and some players while Juan Kincaid is heading to Chargers practice to see if we can talk to former LSU star Jacob Hester and O.P. Walker and LSU star Craig "Buster" Davis. Don't forget to watch our special one hour pre-game show this Sunday at 10 a.m. New Orleans time on Channel 4. I will get both of Jim and Juan's thougths later today and hope to have them on the web for you guys to see. Joe and crew signing off. 4 CommentsLeave a comment |

Jolly good blog my dear sir. I am sorry to hear they have no hot water across the pond. I guess that is why the Pilgrims left to discover America in the 1800’s. If it makes you feel any better, I have hot water, but live in Thibodaux.
So in conclusion, stop your bloody whining govner and tell us about the good stuff that London has to offer. How are the ladies or Big Ben and Parliament?
Joe,
Have you seen any Obama/McCain propoganda over there? It would be neat to hear about their views albeit un-educated. But I guess we have alot of un-educated people here as well.....I won't mention any names. (cough-cough)
P.S. Pick me a pair of knickers or Pant-a-loons!
Stop crying about no power and cold shower. I left Baton Rouge after Katrina and now live in Houston. Ike left me without power and cold showers everyday for 12 days. That's a small price you pay for being in London. Now tell me something good about the Saints!
WHO is this snivelling crybaby??? I want to hear about the Saints, not your cold shower. Get a grip and quit telling us about your health issues.
