Ross Tucker over at SI.com recently put online a list of 32 players who need to perform in 2008. Guess what? Reggie Bush made the list. Not exactly the list he was looking to make, however. What say you? What kind of impact does Bush have to make this year for him to continue to be a favorite? 9 CommentsLeave a comment |

He needs to just do his Job...Do What the coaches ask and he should be fine...play within the system and himself and he will continue to be a fan favorite....Once he can get going, I am positively sure, barring injury, that we will see some exciting, eyepopping highlight footage from Reggie Bush...Don't push...Let it come to him and his talent will eventually take over....He is already heading in the right direction by training here in New Orleans...so we will see.
Reggie Bush has to make a impact by making positive yards on every play. Stop trying to take everything to the outside, if it is designed to run inside, run inside.
There is one word people NEED TO REMEMBER when evaluating Reggie Bush, POTENTIAL. In his rookie year he showed he CLEARLY has the potential to become a GREAT NFL player/ half-back/ scat-back/ multi-purpose back.
There are NUMEROUS examples of NFL players, FULL OF POTENTIAL, who didn't live up to it IMMEDIATELY upon their entry in to the big leagues. O.J. Simpson is one and Eli Manning is another. I expect that, one day, Reggie Bush will live up to his amazing potential. If it is this year GREAT. BUT if the Saints grow weary and dump Bush or trade him, he could realize his potential with ANOTHER TEAM.
TOO MANY TIMES in Saints history, a great "Saints" player has become truly great with ANOTHER TEAM. I SINCERELY HOPE that does not become the case with Reggie. Reggie was thrust into a tough sitaution last year and played hurt for several games. One more word for Saints fans: PATIENCE. Bush can become great given the time, the opportunity, and the right utilization. Let's not throw in the towell on Reggie, it could really come back to haunt us, just as it has with other players in the past.
Reggie should have been traded while his name is still hot.USC never really played anybody good, they just looked good against low class teams. look at matt lienart, lendale white , reggie bush. The lower teams made them look great.
Boycott top two profiting oil companies in the world. And for U.S citizens boycott “ExxonMobil / Shell’s” oil/gasoline products. Or don’t buy any gas from the top two companies or anyone on Friday’s for ten years from the year 2008…. Spread the word! Cut & paste this message into an email. Then send it to co workers, family members, or friends. Pass It On!

I agree with most of these comments, Patience is a virtue, but Reggie needs to stop being a woman and run the ball up the middle when the play is designed to do so. These line man are expecting Reggie to run up the middle, so they do their job by opening up a hole for him. USC NEVER PLAYED ANYONE WORTH A CRAP. So obviously all these players are going to look great in their highlight reels. But I do believe Reggie is an amazing athlete with tons of speed and agility and we are going to see a lot of it this season.
GO SAINTS!! GO LSU!!! AND SCREW USC!!
