Well, here I sit at the Saints Facility off of Airline Drive and we're at pick No. 25.

The first thing that comes to mind is that in years past, I feel like we just would have gotten out of the first 10 picks. I LOVE the new format. I say 10 minutes is much more palatable than 15 minutes.

Here are some thoughts:
1. I had no doubt that the Cowboys were going to select Felix Jones. With McFadden off the big board, Jones was the only Arkansas running back left. You may have heard this already, but Jerry Jones, he likes his Arkansas players. Something about him attending school in Fayetteville, Ark.

I'll say this: Jones is good. McFadden obviously was the go-to back in that offense the past couple of years, but Jones did a really good job, too. He'll be a good professional.

2. East Carolina had a guy picked before Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Miami, Oklahoma, etc., etc. etc. How do these guys fall through the cracks in recruiting? I know the big guys can't always get everyone, but ECU is a fairly large drop-off from the BCS schools.

Then again, he could have really come on in college. He could have had a lot to prove.

But still. You get my point.

3. What are your thoughts on the draft thus far? Do you like the Saints move? Would you rather have had Glenn Dorsey more than Sedrick Ellis? Are you going to watch the rest of the draft and if so, what will you eat for dinner as you watch and will you switch between the NBA playoffs?
