The New Orleans Saints have re-signed WR Terrance Copper to a one-year contract, it was announced by the club today. Copper, who was a Restricted Free Agent and is entering his fourth season, recorded a career-high 23 receptions for 385 yards and three touchdowns in 2006.

Copper appeared in 15 contests in 2006, with four starts. Of his 23 receptions, 16 moved the chain...

Acquiring the proven, veteran performer the team had sought to add to the secondary, the New Orleans Saints have agreed to terms with S Kevin Kaesviharn on a four-year contract, it was announced by the club today.

Kaesviharn, entering his seventh NFL season, was an Unrestricted Free Agent after leading the Cincinnati Bengals in 2006 with six interceptions and also recording 58 tackles, a career-high four sacks and a forced fumble.

Former Colts and Ravens receiver Brandon Stokely visited the Saints Thursday. Stokely has a Super Bowl ring with the Ravens, but his best year came with the Colts in 2004 when he had 68 receptions for 1,077 yards and 10 touchdowns in the Peyton Manning-led, pass-happy offense.

Joe Horn has a deal with the Falcons and will face his old team twice a year. I have to think the idea of getting to 'prove them wrong' was appealing and made the Falcons an easy sell to Joe Horn, who did not like getting disrespected.

The New Orleans Saints have agreed to terms with TE Eric Johnson on a one-year contract, it was announced by the club today. Entering his seventh season, Johnson had played for the San Francisco 49ers since 2001 and recorded 192 receptions for 1,800 yards and seven touchdowns in his career.

Johnson had 34 receptions last season for 292 yards and a pair of TDs in 2006 while starting nine...

Former Saints receiver Joe Horn said Wednesday that he expects to have a deal with the Falcons soon.

Horn said he passed a physical with the team and believes a contract offer is imminent. He told Juan Kincaid that he would still continue with plans to travel to Green Bay for a workout Thursday, unless the Falcons situation comes to fruition sooner.
