A team spokesman has told the Associated Press that Drew Brees' dislocated left elbow could keep him out of action between six and eight weeks. As bad as it was, it came at about the only good time for an injury to come, with maximum time before mini-camps and the season.

Wonder if Brees will be pitching beads at Bacchus Sunday night?

Why do you only report on Southern University during Bayou Classic week or if there is something negative to report? We have a very positive economic effect in New Orleans. Maybe they should select another city, one that would be more appreciative!! I would like to see more/some sports reporting.
