Head Coach Sean Payton didn't mince words following the Saints loss to the Colts Saturday.

Head Coach Sean Payton didn't mince words following the Saints loss to the Colts Saturday.

He said the team "wasn't a ready product," and he said the continued turnovers reminded him of how last year's team was near the bottom of the league in that category.

"We can't dismiss this as just preseason," he said of the five turnovers, which cost the team scoring opportunities.

Payton made a very short statement about the turnover problems before taking questions and his voice was decidedly irritated.

"We have a lot of work to do, a lot of work to to," he said.

I think its sad when you go and play a game and its supposed to be a home game and the fans in miss. was cheering for the other team don't look like that they support the saints to me. cannot wait for them to get back in the superdome were there real fans are and people that support them and cheer them.

I go on record now and say that coach Payton will regret the day he took on this unsurmountable task.

Of course they are going to cheer for Peyton, Archie is still a legend in Ms. His brother was also a star at Ole Miss. Plus the Saints gave the fans nothing to cheer about. They have looked very bad in each of their pre- season games. It does seem like this is going to be a long year. Will we ever get a winning team. I am inpressed with our picks from this draft and our free agent signings. I only hope they will start to gel as the season goes on. I hope! If not this may be another one of our bad years. As a life long Saints fan, I can only hope for the best from our team. However, I've learned over the years to expect the worst.
