Kenny Gomez of Houston, a major Saints fan, is upset about the negative comments following the team's preseason game against Dallas. ...(AP) - Reggie Bush spiced things up with a 9-yard run and an 11-yard gain on a third-and-2 screen, both on the final drive of the first half. He finished with 7 yards on four carries, 14 yards on two receptions -- and disappointment that the starters didn't do better. "This isn't the old Saints any more," he said. From the Associated Press: Officials with the NFL in New York have decided to formally investigate an incident Saturday night in which the Tennessee Titans' raccoon mascot ran into Saints' quarterback/return specialist Adrian McPherson with a golf cart. ...Sean Payton said he has been impressed with backup quarterback Tod Bouman, saying he has looked good in practice and that the rotation people saw for the first preseason game won't be what they'll see from now on. ...Projected starting left guard Montrae Holland returned to practice after injuring his knee two weeks ago. Coach Payton hasn't heard of it, nor did the assembled media, and I don't know if WWL-TV Medical Reporter Meg Farris is privy to this one. Berger is sitting out with osteopubis, which is chronic pain in your groin... Newly released figures by the Saints says more than 31,000 tickets have been sold for the team's final preseason game against the Indianapolis Colts on August 26.
